Harrington is seeking a Fiberglass Specialist (FRP/PLS) to drive sales growth and provide technical expertise within our specialty product lines. This individual will play a critical role in expanding customer relationships, supporting branch teams, and positioning Harrington as the go-to partner for fiberglass solutions across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Selling Harrington’s FRP/PLS products and services to existing customers.
  • Assisting in the preparation of quotations for customer projects.
  • Generating new business opportunities within existing accounts and developing new customers.
  • Making joint sales calls with vendor sales personnel and providing market expertise to branch teams.
  • Conducting product seminars, participating in ISPE and other trade show events, and assisting with job startups involving Harrington products.
  • Developing engineering specifications for Harrington products at biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical, food, beverage, cosmetic, and related manufacturing firms, as well as engineering firms that support these industries.
  • Training company personnel on FRP/PLS products and market applications.
  • Preparing sales information reports and maintaining quote files.
  • Collaborating with branch personnel to resolve credit issues and customer escalations.
  • Building, expanding, and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors, while identifying new product lines that enhance Harrington’s offering.

Requirements

  • Proven sales and customer service experience.
  • Experience in wholesale distribution a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn FRP/PLS product applications.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
