Vice President, Quality Assurance and Testing I

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Quality Assurance and Testing I to join our Global Clearing team. This role is in Chennai, TN – Hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Work with members of the automated testing team to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, scripts, and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Develop and execute performance tests to ensure applications can handle expected load and stress.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in automated testing and quality assurance.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in automated testing.
• Participate in the development of testing strategies, processes, and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team and contribute to the development of technical solutions.
  
  

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred,
• 9-15 years of experience in a systems quality environment preferred.
• Proficiency in automated testing Frameworks (e.g. Selenium/Cucumber).
• Experience with Java programming languages
• Knowledge of SQL queries with Relational databases
• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Scrum methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical and communication skills required
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge and experience in financial services or fintech is preferred
