The Position
As an Associate Analyst in Finance GBS – Accounting, Tax and Treasury, the employee will be participating in the daily tasks within the department and participate in the regular period-end activities. Along with this, the ideal candidate will also be responsible for below mentioned tasks:
- Executing day-end activities including relevant controls (Statements process) and running the payment factory, which currently includes headquarter in Denmark and affiliates in Asia, Europe and North America.
- Daily accounting and reconciliation tasks related to running the payment factory and participate in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities (accruals and reconciliation).
- Ensure daily and monthly Sarbox controls are conducted and documented ensure documentation is recorded; and maintained according to corporate finance archiving guidelines.
- Participate in projects after regular optimisation of procedures and implementation of IT systems after identifying processes with standardization/automations and drive them individually.
- Continued focus on customer service and on service targets according to SLA’s.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) from a well-recognised institute with good academic track record and grades.
- 6-10 years of experience within an accounting/economy function from a larger organization.
- IT skills, in prioritized order: 1) experience in working with SAP Business Warehouse, 2) experience in working with Excel (Pivots, Macros etc.) and 3) experience in working with SAP and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience in working with SAP In-House Cash module -preferably.
- Candidates with banking experience from either a corporate or external bank are preferred.
- Working in S4HANA would be added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Team worker and service minded with good IT skills.
- Preferable experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
