The Application System Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for perform systems administrative functions for digital tools used in our manufacturing sites, physical security and facilities systems.

This position is part of the Manufacturing Site Ops & Sourcing located in India and will be onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Application operations and maintenance activities – including but not limited to user access management, reporting, monitoring & support.
  • Maintenance, configuration and support of integrations between manufacturing, physical security, facilities systems and other Biopharma systems.
  • Technical leadership, setting best practices including integrations and application ops support, mentoring and helping team members.
  • System administration of applications managed by Biopharma in across 3 regions (these would include Genetec (physical security), Hexagon EAM, enLabel (printing solution) and other Operations and Quality systems).
  • Incident, problem, change and configuration management in ServiceNow.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • IT professional with 3+ years of managing & supporting manufacturing systems or Physical security or facilities applications like BMS, EMS.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or other STEM-related one.
  • ServiceNow Knowledge.
  • ITIL certified with DevOps concepts knowledge.
  • Understanding of manufacturing process especially in Manufacturing & Physical Security.
  • Practical knowledge of relational databases and demonstrated experience in scripting or developing software.
  • Prior automation experience including developing new tests and using Git repositories. Knowledge of QA methodologies and techniques would be a plus.
