What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Prepare Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and supporting forms/schedules as required
• Monitor and validate state and federal issued reimbursement rates
• Investigate and respond to audit reviews/questions/adjustments
• Regularly evaluate changes in reimbursement regulations to optimize reimbursement opportunities
• Manage and optimize the data collection and reporting process for various cost reports
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Health Administration
• Minimum of 10 years of experience interpreting Medicare and Medicaid payment regulations
• Expert level of knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulation and payment rules
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage resources effectively
