About this opportunity

The Director, ORTHO Sales is responsible for leading the ORTHO channel in India. Being in charge of creating and executing strategies, new ideas and concepts with the objective of bringing in notable new streams to Algin’s revenue, by forming the best performing sales organization and implementing successful business strategies across the country. The incumbent will also have the opportunity to expand Algin’s business across India by locating and contacting potential partners whilst also discovering and exploring new opportunities. The Director of ORTHO Sales India is a proven sales leader whose energy, focus and determination are matched by well-developed selling skills.

Role expectations

In this role, you will…

  • Ensure profitability and correct strategy for ORTHO channel
  • Meet country sales objectives and cash flow targets
  • Set and drive strategic direction especially for market insights/segmentation work to effectively deploy resources to achieve the business goals. This position will be accountable to grow our business in ORTHO space working effectively with every support functions (Marketing, Clinical, CS, et al)
  • Ensure that all assigned sales resources are properly coordinated, integrated, and controlled; and that effective interrelationships are maintained with all other functions as appropriate.
  • Put in place processes in sales planning, forecasting, business planning, etc, and execution of sales strategies to achieve long-term objectives of business.
  • Participate in setting the strategic directions for long-term growth of business.
  • Provide for continuing sales organization effectiveness through the selection, training, development, and leadership of a competent sales team. To develop a high calibre sales team and have a passion / visible behaviours to train and mentor current team members. Especially to the members who joined recently without dental industrial knowledge.
  • Represent the business in various internal meetings and conferences to ensure that the objectives and strategies are supported throughout the larger organization.
  • Embrace and champion compliance across the sales organization.

What We're Looking For

In this role, you’ll need …

  • MBA degree, preferably in marketing and business management.
  • 18+ years of experience working knowledge in MedTech / Capital equipment / Medical Devices industry.
  • Communication and business skill
