Job Description: Data Science Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Data Science Intern to support data-driven projects in pharmaceutical research and development. The intern will work with biological, chemical, and clinical datasets, applying data analysis and machine learning techniques to solve real-world scientific problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret biological, chemical, and clinical data.
• Support data cleaning, processing, and visualization activities.
• Assist in developing statistical and machine learning models.
• Create reports and presentations to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with scientists and data scientists on project activities.
• Develop and maintain code and documentation following best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic or internship experience involving biological, chemical, healthcare, or clinical data.
• Familiarity with Git, Linux, or cloud platforms.
• Interest in applying AI and data science to pharmaceutical research.
