Job Description
This opportunity within a growing Cambridge Biotech could be the next step in your career. After just securing another round of funding this young biotech is looking for an experienced Bioinformatician to join their team in Cambridge. The company offer software solutions to address big data challenges in hospitals, Biotech’s and Research Institutes.

You will be implementing the testing environment, designing the strategy, and developing new features. You will be the Bioinformatics expert within the quality team, so the role will be Bioinformatics focused but with an emphasis on delivering quality services.

Required Skills And Experience
  • An MSc or higher in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or other related discipline.
  • Plus a few years of post study experience in Clinical Bioinformatics in academia or industry

  • Strong coding skills (Python/R)
  • Knowledge of REST API's
  • Understanding of quality assurance and testing of Bioinformatics software pipeline and tools
