We are seeking a motivated and results-driven District Sales Manager to join our dynamic OEM Medical Device and Diagnostics team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving sales and building long-term relationships with our OEM customers and prospects in the Medical Device and Diagnostics sector.

Leveraging your technical expertise and consultative sales approach, you will identify customer needs, propose value-added solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and maintain Watson-Marlow’s reputation for excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage key accounts, influence market trends, and contribute to the success of a globally recognized leader in fluid management solutions.

This Role Will Focus On

  • Manage Key Accounts: Strengthen relationships and grow sales with existing key customers.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate customer interactions, ensuring expectations are met by working closely with the support team.
  • Lead Management: Respond to leads and promote Watson-Marlow products for OEM fluid path and equipment projects.
  • Sales Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and business agreements with customers and prospects.
  • Technical Liaison: Collaborate with factory engineers to quote and specify custom-engineered products.
  • Value Proposition Communication: Clearly articulate the benefits of Watson-Marlow’s product brands to Medical Device and Diagnostics markets.
  • Pipeline Monitoring: Track multi-year customer project pipelines from initial design through production phases.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and foster Watson-Marlow brand loyalty.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on trends in the Biopharmaceutical sector to align offerings with market needs.
  • Consultative Sales Execution: Implement a consultative sales process aligned with Watson-Marlow 's core values.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need

  • Proven Sales Record: Demonstrated success in selling premium products through a consultative approach, preferably in the Life Sciences Sector, particularly Medical Device and Diagnostics industries.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to leverage engineering or technical knowledge during the sales process.
  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to understanding and addressing customer needs and expectations including negotiating pricing and business terms effectively.
  • Project Management: Capable of managing long-term project pipelines from design to production.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a diverse and inclusive global environment.
