We are hiring for the role of Field Application Scientist (Molecular Biology Instruments and Consumables) at our rapidly growing innovator biotech instruments and consumables manufacturing company, for Mumbai location.

Position: Field Application Scientist
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 3-5 years in an application role for Molecular Biology Instruments and Consumables

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and training to customers on the use of molecular biology instruments and consumables.
• Responsible for sales to key accounts.
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations and assist with the installation and validation of equipment.
• Develop and deliver presentations, seminars, and workshops to educate customers on product applications and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the products.
• Gather customer feedback and provide insights to the product development team for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in molecular biology techniques and technologies.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical support activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in an application role involving molecular biology instruments and consumables.
• Strong technical knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, NGS, and DNA/RNA extraction.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Customer-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional service.
