Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Biostatistician to work Remote for an innovative and growing Contract Research Organization (CRO). The Biostatistician will play a significant role in the design and development of medical implants.

Responsibilities for the Biostatistician include:

• Provide statistical leadership and work as a study statistician across several therapeutic areas.
• Authoring or performing quality control review (QC) of statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and shells.
• Performing QC of derived datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs).
• Identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Assisting with protocol reviews.
• Participating in case report form (CRF) reviews.
• Drafting clinical study reports or statistical reports
• Good communication skills (written & verbal) – Client facing role
• Ability to work 5-15/20 hours per week – note* flexible when work can be completed
  
  

Qualifications for the Biostatistician include:

• At least 3 years of experience in Biostatistics and Oncology are a MUST
• Knowledge in SAS programming in the biotech and pharma sectors.
• Proficiency in SAS® including:
• Use of a variety of statistical procedures.
• Non-parametric analysis.
• Linear and non-linear models.
• Categorical data and survival analysis.
• Ability to program in a statistical software package other than SAS® is a Plus.
  
  

Compensation for the Biostatistician include:

• Contract: (length: 1+ years) hourly wage is dependent upon experience
• Travel to the San Diego headquarters may be required if not residing locally.
