Never Paint by Number isn't just our motto—it's how we work—collaboratively and creatively. If you're ready to bring your passion to a team that sees beyond limitations, we want to hear from you.

The Mynd Group is seeking a Senior Medical and Market Access Writer!

As a Medical Writer specializing in Market Access, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality, scientifically accurate, and commercially focused content to support our clients' strategic objectives. You will be responsible for the planning, preparation, development, and/or review of scientific and medical content across a variety of formats tailored for payer, health technology assessment (HTA) bodies, and other key market access stakeholders. This includes value propositions, health economic models, global value dossiers (GVDs), formulary submissions, reimbursement dossiers, and more. You will ensure clear communication of complex scientific information, maintain accuracy, and adhere to project timelines while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling and scientifically sound market access deliverables, including but not limited to: value dossiers, economic models, slide decks, reports, and responses to payer queries.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of scientific literature, clinical trial data, and market access landscape information to support the development of persuasive arguments for product value.
  • Translate complex scientific concepts into clear, concise, and impactful language tailored to specific market access audiences (e.g., payers, HTA bodies).
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., market access strategists, health economists, account managers) and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, medical experts) to ensure alignment on project objectives and content.
  • Participate in internal and external client meetings, contributing scientific expertise and insights as needed.
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all written materials with relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on scientific advancements, evolving market access trends, and payer requirements.
  • Understand and articulate the clinical utility and economic value of therapeutic interventions within specific disease states from a market access perspective.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic communication plans and messaging for market access initiatives.
  • Support new business development activities by contributing to proposals and presentations as required.
  • Maintain the highest professional standards and represent the company positively in all interactions.

Job Requirements

  • Education - MD, PharmD, PhD, or advanced nursing degree with a strong scientific background.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional medical writing experience, preferably within a market access agency, pharmaceutical company (market access department), or health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) consultancy.
  • Proven experience in developing market access deliverables such as value dossiers, economic models, formulary submissions, and HTA submissions.
  • Strong understanding of health economics principles, outcomes research methodologies, and global market access processes.
  • Experience in analyzing clinical trial data, scientific literature, and real-world evidence to develop compelling value arguments.
  • Familiarity with payer decision-making processes and requirements in key global markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with literature search databases (e.g., PubMed/MEDLINE, Embase).
