As the Global counsel for the API Services business and European counsel for the Viral Vector Services business, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality legal and compliance advice and transactional support to these businesses.

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our exceptional legal team. As the Global counsel for the API Services business and European counsel for the Viral Vector Services business, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality legal and compliance advice and transactional support to these businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary legal counsel for business transactions, commercial disputes, and settlements.
- Counsel senior leaders on compliance and regulatory matters.
- Lead and collaborate on legal projects and initiatives.
- Provide training to the organization on a range of legal matters.
- Experience in handling legal, regulatory, and compliance matters, including product liability, trade compliance, anti-bribery, and data privacy.
- Proven ability to achieve positive results in a matrixed environment through influence and negotiation.
- Strong understanding of contract terms and their legal consequences.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with individuals both within and outside the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Law degree from an internationally recognized University/law school.
- Approximately five years of experience in commercial, corporate, or litigation matters.
- Knowledge of European and US laws and regulations in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sectors is an advantage.
- Applicable legal licensure and bar membership.
