THE ROLE


We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal RWE Programmer to join our FSP team and support one of our fantastic pharmaceutical clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in non-interventional studies, be competent in traditional programming and RWE programming. We are looking for someone who is bright, adaptable and driven that has SAS, R and Claims data experience.


This position will be full-time and fully remote (although it can be office/hybrid based, depending on the successful candidate's location).


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, validate, and maintain statistical programs for the analysis of real-world data, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal standards
  • Perform data management tasks, including data cleaning, data transformation, and data integration from multiple sources to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biostatisticians, data scientists, and clinical researchers, to design and implement statistical analyses that address specific research questions
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for programming processes, data management workflows, and analysis results to ensure reproducibility and transparency
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in real-world data
  • Assist in the preparation of statistical reports, presentations, and publications, summarizing findings and providing insights to stakeholders


Qualifications

  • Background in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Strong statistical knowledge is considered a benefit)
  • 5+ years of experience working within a CRO or a pharma/biotech company
  • Fully proficient on ADaM and SDTM programming
  • Experience with large, complex datasets
  • Proven experience in statistical programming using languages such as SAS and R
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data quality
  • Experience with real-world data sources, such as electronic health records, claims data, or patient registries (essential)
  • Desired knowledge of AIML techniques applied to programming
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
