ADHD Prescriber - Child & Adolescent

Clinical Partners is one of the UK's leading providers of mental health services, and we have an exciting new opportunity for a ADHD Prescribers with experience in treating children & adolescents, and an interest in neurodevelopmental conditions to join our team on a self-employed basis, to offer remote appointments.

You will work within our multi-disciplinary team conducting ADHD medication clinics for children & adolescents, having responsibility for assessing patients with an established diagnosis, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medication within the scope of your practice. You will be crucial in providing advise and support to, Consultants, GP's and other relevant professionals and service users on ADHD medications, and respond to patient queries by email or telephone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop individualised treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic and integrated care.
  • Prescribe and manage prescriptions within the scope of practice.
  • Monitor and adjust medication regimens as needed and educate patients on medication compliance.
  • Manage and respond to clinical queries and repeat prescription requests from existing patients via a dedicated mailbox.
  • Liaise with GP's to secure shared care arrangements in prescribing of medication once titration has completed.

Requirements

  • V300 qualification / Independent Prescriber
  • Specialist knowledge of ADHD medications
  • Experience of reading ECG's

Remuneration And Benefits

  • Initial Appointment: 50 minutes - £81.75
  • Follow-up/Additional Medication Appointments: 30 minutes - £51.00
