Title: ACT (Accelerated Clinical trials) Development Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior AI and software engineering leader to architect, build, and scale enterprise-grade, AI-first SaaS platforms. This role will be responsible for defining modern agentic AI architectures, leading large multidisciplinary engineering teams, and delivering high-impact products in regulated clinical trial environments. The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with disciplined execution, enabling rapid prototyping and accelerated product delivery while maintaining enterprise standards of quality, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Serve as the principal architect for enterprise-scale AI platforms, including agentic AI systems and Large Reasoning Model (LRM)-based architectures.
• Define and evolve the end-to-end technical vision, platform strategy, and architectural standards for AI-driven SaaS products.
• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, reliable, and compliant with clinical trial and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Engineering Management & Team Building

• Lead, mentor, and scale AI and software engineering teams of 25+ engineers.
• Build and cultivate an AI-first, high-performance engineering organization with a strong culture of accountability, learning, and delivery.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier engineering talent aligned with AI-accelerated development practices.
  
  

Product Delivery & Execution

• Drive rapid delivery cycles, enabling:
• Live prototypes within ~60 days
• MVP-level products within 120–180 days
• Champion the use of AI-assisted development (“vibe coding”) across engineering, QA, and testing workflows, targeting 75%+ AI-supported output.
• Implement and maintain fast, disciplined software development processes that balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
  

Domain & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Apply domain expertise in clinical trials to guide product design, data workflows, and system constraints.
• Partner closely with product, clinical, data science, regulatory, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support executive leadership with technical insights, risk assessments, and roadmap planning.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in software and AI engineering leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing and scaling engineering teams of 25+ developers delivering enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Strong background as a systems architect with hands-on experience designing modern AI platforms, including agentic AI systems and Large Reasoning Models.
• Proven experience developing software solutions for clinical trial or regulated healthcare environments.
• Track record of successfully delivering products using accelerated, AI-driven development methodologies.
• Deep experience running disciplined, high-velocity software development processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred).

• Experience building internal AI platforms or developer tooling.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks impacting clinical trials (e.g., GxP, FDA, EMA).
