Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager/Manager Level1(Production) to join our team. The role involves managing daily production operations, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, and coordinating with various teams to meet production targets. Responsibilities also include overseeing the manufacturing process, scheduling, and optimizing resource utilization while maintaining a high level of productivity and quality. The ideal candidate combines experience in the Peptide Industry and expertise in solid phase peptide synthesis, purification, and lyophilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Oversee daily production activities and planning to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Documentation: Prepare MBPRs, SOPs, and risk assessment documents.
  • Quality Compliance: Investigate deviations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Perform equipment qualification and process validation activities.
  • ERP Management: Handle and manage the ERP system for efficient production operations.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with QA, QC, and M&E departments to ensure smooth departmental operations.
  • Technology Transfers: Conduct tech transfer activities and gap assessments.
  • Audits: Prepare relevant documentation and facilities for customers and regulatory audits, represent the company during these audits, and ensure all aspects of such audits remain in compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a master’s degree in chemistry.
  • Experience: 10+ years in the production department within the Peptide Industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in solid phase peptide synthesis, purification, and lyophilization processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of synthesizing complex information into clear insights.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Decision-Making: Strong decision-making abilities.
  • Self-Management: Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
