My client is a reputable global engineering company seeking a design engineer. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in their worldwide engineering team, tasked with preparing and submitting RIBA Stage 3 to 5 Designs for BMS (Building Management Systems) and ENMS (Electrical Network Management Systems). This position involves collaborating with Global Strategic Accounts customers in the rapidly expanding Data Centre and Life Sciences sectors.

* Lead design efforts and act as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders on assigned projects, serving as their trusted advisor for all aspects of BMS/ENMS design technical solutions.

* Work on the preparation of defined BMS/ENMS design deliverables for RIBA stages 3,4 and 5, typically including Point Schedules, Sequence of Operations, Network Architectures, etc, in accordance with defined customer standards.

* Lead stakeholder and customer meetings workshops, ensuring the required design outputs are coordinated fully with other design disciplines and are delivered within a timely manor

* Identify scope changes and provide necessary information to support claims for cost/time impact

* Collaborate and co-ordinate with internal team, ensuring that there is a flow of information to allow efficient Software Graphic production.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of customer engineering standards.

* The core requirement for the role will be to have key experience in the design of BMS (Building Management Systems). This ideally should be within the Life Sciences (pharmaceutical) or Data Centre environment.

* This role will be operating on an international basis, as you work with global projects and teams across multiple countries. As a result of this excellent communication skills will be required.

* The ability to manage multiple projects at a time

* Extensive technological knowledge is required for this role, this will include the integration of 3rd party systems into BMS/EMS systems.
