Job Description
The Democratic Attorneys General Association provides political and policy support to Democratic State Attorneys General in their mission to protect citizens, promote progress, and support civil rights. Reports To: Research Director Salary: $50,000 Start Date: January 2, 2025 Purpose: Research Associate is responsible for working directly with the Research Director and Deputy Research Director on the committees opposition research efforts. This position will work with the Research team to monitor opponents, analyze public records and campaign finance reports, and assist with opposition research. This position is a member of Research team and reports to the Research Director. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Research team to implement the committees strategy and research program
- Work with the Research team to ensure all products coming out of the Research Department are accurate and high quality
- Produce research materials, including long-term projects on opponents
- Assist research team with collection of information from clips, public records, campaign finance reports, and databases
- Monitor opponents and update relevant staff when appropriate Qualifications:
- Campaign research experience preferred but not required
- Attention to detail, organized, and deadline-oriented Details:

- DAGAs office is open 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern, but extended and nontraditional work hours are required.
- DAGA offices are in downtown DC. DAGA is currently offering a hybrid work environment or remote work.
