Job Description

At Solenis, we’re committed to providing sustainable, innovative solutions for the industrial and professional markets, including water treatment, food processing industry and paper products. As a Chemical Regulatory Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring our products meet stringent regulatory standards across Europe, leveraging your expertise in chemical compliance and your hands-on experience with regulatory authorities.

About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive regulatory professional with a robust chemical industry background and direct experience working with regulatory bodies. In this role, you’ll manage compliance projects, and drive EU product authorizations. You’ll also be the main point of contact for inspections, supporting internal and external partners to uphold compliance from development through to market entry.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Product Registrations: Prepare and submit regulatory documentation for our chemical and biocidal products (disinfectants, preservatives), working directly with authorities and ensuring compliance across the Europe.
  • Conduct Dossier building: Perform regulatory assessments, prepare technical dossiers with support of the RD team, and manage external consultants when necessary to meet compliance needs.
  • Liaise with Regulatory Bodies: Handle interactions with inspectors, government agencies, and industry authorities to address questions, secure approvals, and facilitate smooth inspections.
  • Coordinate Compliance Processes: Work with cross-functional teams, including RD and marketing, to align regulatory strategies with business goals and product innovation.
  • Monitor Regulatory Landscape: Stay updated on changes to chemical regulations, assess potential impacts, and offer strategic insights on compliance for current and future products.

Who You Are

  • Experienced in Regulatory Submissions: You’ve managed regulatory filings and interacted with authorities, bringing a hands-on approach to preparing and submitting compliance product dossiers.
  • Chemical Regulatory Expert: Master’s degree with extensive regulatory experience in the chemical industry, or an advanced degree with solid expertise in EU compliance processes. Experience on BPR Regulation (EU) 528/2012 is a very big plus.
  • Collaborative Solutions-Oriented: You thrive in cross-functional settings, easily navigating communication with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment.
  • Proactive Detail-Oriented: Known for your thorough approach, you anticipate challenges and come prepared with effective solutions.

Why Solenis?

We offer a supportive, growth-oriented environment where your expertise is valued and rewarded. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.
  • Robust pension plan with minimal contributions.
  • An engaging, people-first work culture with flexibility and autonomy to shape your role.
