We are looking for an IPR Associate for our client based at Gurgaon, Haryana. The position is support the Product development and technology development team to ensure creation, maintenance and defense of a strong IPR position, protection of know-how and risk management by understanding infringements and conducting appropriate searches.
Have to work In-house IP team development and making IPR work more efficient, time saving and more qualitative IP output, for assisting in IPR activities.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
- Harvest and evaluate invention disclosures, initiate novelty searches and support analysis of data
- FTO - Freedom to operate is a risk analysis that determines if a product, technology, or invention can be used without infringing on the intellectual property (IP) rights of others
- Patentability assessment, patent drafting, filing, and online PCT filing
- Draft IP agreements
- Ensure registration, enforcement, maintenance and defense of trademarks
- Draft patent application and prosecution
- Ensure protection and defense of intellectual property
- Infringement analysis
- Defend IR rights attack from 3rd parties.
- Assist in review of patents and trademarks
- Identifying IP infringements and enforcing patents and trademarks
- Patent Landscaping and proper investigation regarding freedom to operate evaluation pertaining to company product portfolio.
- Ensure proper IP risk management to enable product launches
- The ideal should be M.Sc/ B.Tech/M.tech/Ph.D in Chemistry.
- Required 1-2 Years of Working experience with Pharma or Agrochemical Industries.
- Should be disciplined, committed towards work, Analytic thinking and time management skills.
- Required excellent drafting ability and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of Patent and Trademark in different countries
- Patent searching-Infringement searches, FTO searches, patentability.
