We are currently seeking a Senior Director Statistical Programming to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Director Statistical Programming at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and oversight to the statistical programming function, contributing to the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials, and driving the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.
What You Will Be Doing
- Providing strategic direction and leadership for the statistical programming team, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality programming deliverables.
- Collaborating closely with biostatisticians, data managers, and other cross-functional teams to develop statistical analysis plans and programming specifications for clinical studies.
- Overseeing the programming and validation of analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Leading the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, methodologies, and best practices in statistical programming to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Providing expert guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence.
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or related field; additional certifications (e.g., SAS) preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in statistical programming within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry, with significant experience in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing statistical programming teams, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting project timelines.
- Expertise in statistical programming languages such as SAS and R, with a thorough understanding of CDISC standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
