Responsibilities
At CooperSurgical we are currently looking to recruit a Clinical Application Scientist for our UK and Ireland Markets. You will be part of the Clinical Application Scientist team with primary focus on in-clinic training and facilitation of the CSI portfolio. This position is field based and will cover hospitals and private IVF clinics in the region. The position is based from home, in the UK with travel within the UK and Ireland 3-4 days a week with occasional overseas travel e.g. ESHRE.

Position
As a Clinical Application Scientist with CooperSurgical your primary role will be in-clinic training, facilitating hands-on workshops with customers in close collaboration with co-workers to support UK&I sales. You must have solid hands-on experience as a biopsy- practitioner . You will support customers with evaluations, optimization projects and troubleshooting. You are confident in public speaking, giving presentations and participating in promotional in-person events and live educational webinars.
You thrive with customer interaction, sharing knowledge and best practices on CSI’s vast portfolio while ensuring customer satisfaction. You enjoy delivering assistance and support to enhance the usage of the CSI portfolio clinically. You are self-motivated, reliable with a positive and trustworthy personality. With a can-do attitude you will support your colleagues, as they in turn support you, sharing skills and knowledge along the way.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop usage of CSI portfolio via in-clinic training, facilitation, optimization and troubleshooting
- Demonstrate and utilize a good working understanding of PGT to support CSI customers
- Ensure appropriate knowledge and best practice sharing across customers
- Active partner in the global Professional Education Clinical Support (PECS) team
- Educational background: Bachelor and preferably Masters/Ph.d
- HCPC registered Clinical Embryologist or ESHRE certified Embryologist
- + 5 years of experience as embryologist- incl. biopsy practitioner
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Organized and structured
- Responsive, curious and with a proactive attitude
- Team player
- Fluent English
- Good at building relationships
