About the job
Summary of the Position:
Alcon is looking to hire a QC Systems Specialist to join our RD team at Bangalore in India. The QC Systems Specialist is accountable for quality systems support of all document types coming to the QC team supporting the study and submission of medical devices or pharmaceutical products. The QC Systems Specialist's support must be completed with quality and timeliness, completing tasks no later than back end of stated timelines.
Roles Responsibilities:
• Responsible for completing required training and acquisition of editing and document management system skills
• Responsible to set up report-level content plans within all areas (i.e., Clinical Evaluation or Clinical) for document publications and aid Medical Writers in authoring within the document management system
• Responsible for implementation of best practices and standards for QC
• Responsible for publishing low to medium complexity documents for one area (i.e., Clinical Evaluation or Clinical) and the verification / review of said publication
• Ensures compliance with Alcon's publishing requirements in documents supporting the study and submission of medical devices or pharmaceutical products
