Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) offers clinical and economic benefits. From a clinical perspective, MIS is associated with improved outcomes through reduced rates of complications such as infections, blood loss, incisional hernias, adhesions, and postoperative pain. Economic benefits include reduced length of hospital stay and readmissions, decreased recovery times, and lower costs across the episode of care. After hospital discharge, MIS patients typically are back to their daily routines faster than those who have had open surgery. The advancement of surgical techniques and technologies is providing real patient benefits, while reducing the cost of healthcare for all.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Working proactively and in a structured way on Market Analytics and Market Research around customers, competitors, and general market trends
  • Translating the results of market insights into a clear prioritization of sales activity - identifying Accounts, Opportunities and Customer needs, building a solid Account Plan, identifying, and advising Key Stakeholders, Champions, and Decision Makers
  • Promoting assigned product portfolio with best practices, demos and product trainings in hospital and non-hospital markets (remotely using all available technologies)
  • Leading the price and contract negotiations to successfully close customer deals
  • Ensuring repeat purchase orders and building a strong relationship with the customers
  • Communicating and aligning on a regular basis with field sales force and local Marketing organization of Surgical Innovations (SI) and other Medical Surgery divisions

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Degree or similar health care qualification
  • Fluency in English and local language
  • Remote sales experience
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals with customers
  • Strong presentation/communication skills over the phone
  • Ability to travel (max up to 20%) to internal and customer meetings, hybrid role (2 days from office, 3 days from home)
