Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related areas or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years direct experience in modern teaching and/or research laboratory settings.
- Wide knowledge of biology laboratory equipment and its proper care, maintenance and usage.
- Familiarity and understanding of research compliance and laboratory safety issues.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Experience with management of research support infrastructure and ability to solve infrastructure problems at department level.

Position Purpose
Coordinate research, facility and technical support to the department, and provide assistance as necessary to the department’s Lab Manager and Chair.
