Job Description
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
• Develop and execute the overall analytics and market research strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Lead and manage a team of analysts and market researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Utilize a disciplined project management approach to scope, plan, and execute key projects resulting in high quality, results oriented, and on-time outcomes
• Define and drive consistency in reporting across all business units to measure performance and support strategic decision making.
• Clearly and concisely communicate/ present the implications of analyses and the execution plan to senior leaders to answer business critical questions.
Advanced Analytics:
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques, including GenAI, to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support decision-making in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Collaborate with the business/ functional users across multiple countries to understand, address present solutions to meet business priorities
Market Research:
• Oversee the design and execution of comprehensive market research studies to gather insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.
• Analyse and interpret market research data to provide actionable recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Data Management:
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data used for analytics and market research purposes.
• Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data integration across various sources.
• GenAI Implementation:
• Lead initiatives to incorporate GenAI technologies into analytics and market research processes, exploring new use cases and applications.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in GenAI and evaluate their potential impact on the pharmaceutical industry.
Reporting and Communication:
• Develop and deliver clear, concise, and impactful reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of analytics and market research insights into business strategies.
Vendor and Partnership Management:
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners providing analytics and market research services.
• Evaluate and select appropriate tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance the capabilities of the analytics and market research function.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Marketing, Business, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• 12 – 15 years’ experience of working in a fast-paced and complex business setting, minimum 5 years in pharma/ healthcare industry.
• Strong expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including experience with GenAI technologies.
• Strong technical background; exposure to visual analytics (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), advanced analytics applications (R, SAS, Python etc.), relevant GenAI platforms and data mining/ML
