Job Purpose
Experienced chemist for process development with Pharma experience.
Educational Qualification
M.Sc. in Chemistry
Experience
Minimum 5 to 8 years of process development with Pharma experience, QMS etc.
Technical Skills
To follow all safety precautions and adhere to EHSS policies.
Contributing to the development of procedures, practices and systems that ensure safe operations and compliance with the company’s integrity and quality standards.
Driving a corporate culture that promotes an environment, Health, and safety (EHS) mindset and operational discipline at the workplace at all times.
Ensure all assigned mandatory training related to data integrity, health and safety measures are completed on time.
Compliance with Syngene’s quality standards at all times.
Conduct laboratory experiments and trials as per the needs of the process.
Coordinate with the AD/QC department to solicit support and follow-up for getting sample analysis of laboratory experiments conducted.
Generate lab experiment data in the lab notebook.
Conducting experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods.
Work on troubleshooting during existing processes going on in the plant.
Closely work with the TSD team for yield and quality improvements in existing and coming projects.
Conduct the experiments as per the instructions from the PD head/designee/supervisor.
Characterization of Raw materials, their proper placements, and safe dispensing for experiments.
To plan DOE's for the troubleshoots for optimization of the process.
Knowledge sharing and guiding the manufacturing team for the execution of batches.
To perform the handling of hazardous salt chemicals in the lab in a safe way.
Coordinating with QC, QA, Logistics, and SCM departments for planning the raw materials required for the experiments.
Receiving, labelling, and analyzing samples as per the defined procedure.
Handling of laboratory equipment like RBF, Stirrer, Hot oil bath, Rota vapor, tray drier, funnels etc.
Attends training on the Standard operating procedure and enriches
knowledge from day to day.
Permitted to work in QMS and EMS activities only after qualification.
General documentation of PD Lab
Good teamwork by maintaining a healthy environment.
Behavioral Skills
Adhering to the systems and policies of the company with dedication to work and result oriented approach during the execution of work.
Self-driven individual with team coordination would be required.
