Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join the behavioural science team. This role has arisen due to client interest in behavioural science-informed solutions continuing to grow and the number of projects in healthcare increasing.
As a Senior Consultant you will focus on behavioural science applied in the context of healthcare (although projects may be broader).
At the forefront of the group’s consulting capabilities, you will combine strategy development and behavioural science to help clients shape and benefit from solutions focused on a rich understanding of the behaviour change component of commercial challenges.
Inizio Engage XD created its Behavioural Science Unit to provide a dedicated and specialist consulting and strategy capability for clients. Made up of psychologists and consultants, the unit works on a broad range of projects for clients within Engage XD across the wider Inizio network.
You will report into Principal Consultant within the Behavioural Science Unit
What you'll do …
- Introduce and communicate behavioural science research and concepts with our teams and clients as a valuable contribution to the development of strategic responses to client requests across multiple healthcare related behavioural challenges. This includes foundational theory, and the latest research from leading academic journals.
- Advise on the execution of research approaches to uncover insights for clients (both quant' and qual') across target audiences such as healthcare practitioners and patients.
- Conduct hands-on analysis, interpretation and reporting of behavioural data for clients, with a focus on making outputs accessible for clients and teams.
- Advise on ways to improve patient and healthcare practitioner communications (written and verbal) and engagement strategies, using behavioural science informed techniques.
- Lead in the design and execution of experimental studies with clients.
- Strategic lead on new business proposals and pitches.
- Design and facilitating client and internal team workshops.
- Identify and improve new products, approaches and ways to expand the offer of the behavioural science unit, and of the Inizio Engage XD network.
- Produce white papers, articles and conference content to build an expertise position in applied behavioural science, to address healthcare related challenges.
- Collaboration with other specialist strategic teams across Inizio Engage XD focusing on broader capabilities of employee engagement, employee learning and events and our in-house creative and digital teams.
What you'll need to have …
- A PhD in psychology, a bonus if in health-related behaviours.
- Have a clear record in senior consulting, and in leading consulting projects with many-sided teams.
- Be able to advise on the application of behavioural science in several areas relevant to healthcare behaviour (for example, medication adherence, healthcare communications, health behaviour change, HCP-patient communication, digital health interventions, patient outcomes and experience measurement).
- Be able to demonstrate a capability in designing and conducting behavioural insights (e.g., through surveys, focus groups, academic literature reviews) and running behavioural experiments.
- Be able to demonstrate a capability to improve healthcare communications using behavioural science theory and techniques.
- Be comfortable analysing and report data (quant' and qual') using analytics software such as R or SPSS.
- Be comfortable working with Qualtrics, and to guide more junior team members in using similar tools.
- Be able and willing to apply behavioural science expertise to other areas of the business outside of healthcare (e.g., employee engagement).
- Have a record in producing white papers, articles and thought pieces, and be comfortable speaking at conferences and events.
- Be an accomplished facilitator, designing and running workshops.
