Job Description

As a Statistical Programmer you will be joining the world’s largest most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.


What you will be doing:

  • Complete programming activities under supervision
  • Take responsibility for timely completion of all assigned development task
  • Understand and apply a basic knowledge of industry standards
  • Identify and begin to interpret problems in processes/results and communicate them to supervisor/manager
  • Develop understanding of all applicable policies and procedures of GSK
  • Execute assigned tasks with high quality, integrity and attention to detail (with some supervision)
  • Perform Quality Control (QC) of own work independently
  • Keep manager/supervisor informed of progress and activities; escalates issues as appropriate
  • Works effectively and collaboratively within own team

You are:

  • Able to lead studies under supervision.
  • Able to demonstrate strong programming and domain expertise.
  • Able to execute a wide range of programming activities with minimal supervision.
  • Able to identify gaps in current programming best practices and offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within Statistical Programming in a clinical environment.
