About the client:PSShas been mandated to hire aNational Sales Manager - West and North for awell-established, financially strong leader in the Pharmaceutical space.
Purpose of the role:Responsible for developing sales strategies and managing sales team in order to achieve set sales goals, targets and revenue.
Reporting Structure:
Reporting To:GM/BU-Head
Team Size:150 approx.
Division Size –240 cr/annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Lead Zonal sales team members to achieve sales targets
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
- Liaise with Distribution, Marketing, SFE, SCM, Training, HR and Sales Admin departments to ensure brand consistency
- Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
Educational Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 15-20 years of experience in Pharma sales out of which at least two years experience as a National Sales Head / Zonal handled Two Zones in Acute Therapy
