Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Developing scientific communication documents such as manuscripts (Review article and Research paper), abstracts, posters, white papers, scientific slide decks
• Responsible for interpreting statistical results and for soliciting statistician input for developing study reports, abstracts, manuscripts, and other documents as required
• Responsible for all content-related aspects of each assigned project from conception, writing, revising, annotating per source references, and performing QA checks
• Publication journal selection and submission (Plagiarism check, Grammar check, Referencing, QC of document, Formatting document as per journal guidelines, Resubmission and maintaining necessary update)
• Candidate should be familiar with use of databases like Pubmed, Ovid, Cochrane, Medical conference sites including creating search strategies for literature searches for epidemiological burden, economic burden, humanistic burden, etc.
• Structured and targeted literature reviews to understand the disease landscape and provide inputs for various commercial and health economic models
• Carrying out data extraction and synthesis where needed
• Coordinates with principal investigator, health care professionals and regional sales manager to ensure that Real-world Evidence (RWE) studies and related activities are performed accurately and in a decided timeline
• Accountable for the development of protocols, statistical analysis plans and analysis specifications for observational database analyses aligned with Real World Evidence (RWE) generation objectives across the organization with no supervision
• Help on-board new team members, as appropriate, and complete special projects as assigned
Qualification:
• ≥ 3 year of professional experience in the field of health economics and outcomes research
• PhD, MPH, M. Pharm or higher degree in a scientific discipline (medical field or biology)
• Proven knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines or other meaningful guidelines or industry standard
• Outstanding written and verbal interpersonal skills
• Good computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other team members
