Job Summary

We offer a position as a Senior Regulatory Manager Taste, subregional lead for EAME Northwest Europe (UK, Ireland, Nordics). This role reports to the Head of EAME Regulatory Affairs Taste and will be located Europe (preferably UK, Germany or the Netherlands). In this role you will be part of the IFF Global Regulatory Affairs team supporting the Taste BU in EAME with a focus on flavorings and seasonings.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Assure the compliance of IFF Taste products in the sub region with applicable regulatory,

market and customer requirements.

  • Further improve and streamline processes to assure timely and correct handling of

technical product information (documentation) requests according to defined response

policies.

  • Leading and developing the Regulatory Affairs team based in the UK
  • Support the local and regional commercial and technical teams with regulatory expertise

and guidance

  • Maintain a close interaction with sub regional business lead to identify needs, align on

regional objectives and prioritize the efforts.

  • Act as primary regulatory interface for customers and authorities in the region – including

regulatory interpretations, defending positions, supporting briefs

  • Monitoring of relevant regulatory requirements and applicable food legislation, assure

timely implementation

  • Participate in UK industry associations, collaborate within a cross functional UK team to

stay informed and timely anticipate upon further divergence of UK legislation from EU

  • Implement the IFF regulatory strategy into the sub region
  • Support regional and global projects to further develop regulatory systems, policies and

positions.

Experience & Requirements

  • University Decree in food science, food technology, food chemistry or related field
  • Min. 10 years of regulatory experience in the Flavors (preferred) or Food industry
  • Excellence and comprehensive knowledge in EU and UK food and flavor legislation
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to guide and mentor, experience in

people leadership and working in an international environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in english
  • Solution oriented mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Customer focus and drive for results
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs, experience with SAP is an advantage
  • Great organizational skills, independent way of working, high attention to detail,

customer focused
