Real Chemistry is looking for a Manager, Social Media Thought Leadership to join our growing team! You will be responsible for supporting social media and content strategy for our Social Media Executive Thought Leadership Team clients.

This role can be remote in the US - with a preference to the East Coast - or in any of our US offices, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, or Washington DC.

What You’ll Do

  • Write compelling, engaging and fresh social media content – both long-form and short-form - as well as work with creative teams, including designers and copywriters, to develop exceptional content for our clients customized for social platforms and ad units
  • Brainstorm, conceptualize and present new social media and digital programs/plans for clients
  • Measure client social performance through native tools, identifying a clear narrative from the numbers and generating insightful recommendations
  • Support day-to-day social media executive healthcare accounts, as part of an integrated team
  • Share and learn best practices for executives Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, you name it
  • Track and monitor for press releases, live posts, and engagements on client social accounts
  • Cultivate and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and trends to guide account teams and help Real Chemistry continue to be a leader in the space; contribute as a thought leader on social landscape, best practices, and cultural happenings across platforms

What You Should Have

  • 3-4 years of experience in social media content strategy, ideally in biotech, pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
  • Experience working with senior level executives with marketing, communications or social media efforts
  • Demonstrated proficiency in social media, both personally and professionally
  • Highly organized, mindful of deadlines, able to multi-task and work under limited supervision
  • Detail oriented, well-organized professional who performs with a sense of urgency, and stays on schedule and on budget
  • Outstanding written and oral communications and presentations skills; creativity is key
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO and the role it plays in social media
  • Understanding of the FDA and FTC regulations guiding social media efforts for biotech and pharma clients
  • Experience collaborating effectively internally and externally as part of an integrated team

Pay Range: $70,000.00-$85,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
