Gator Bio is a pre-IPO biotech company located in Palo Alto, CA. We are creating innovative technologies to solve difficult problems facing today’s healthcare industries. We develop, manufacture and market instruments, biosensors, reagents, and consumables for in-vitro diagnostics and biotherapeutic development. Our mission is to simplify and accelerate biological analysis for biotherapeutic research and development.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Business Manage to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and providing exceptional support to our clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and customer service skills.
Essential Duties
- Sales Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional revenue targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
- Client Support: Oversee and manage all aspects of customer support to ensure high levels of satisfaction and prompt resolution of issues. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Market Insights: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Use insights to inform sales strategies and improve service offerings.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Conduct regular meetings and reviews to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, support metrics, and market developments to senior management. Utilize data to drive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to sales processes and support procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets within Western Europe to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with Gator Bio’s overall business objectives, ensuring effective market penetration and competitive positioning.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Provide exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and customer support, preferably in the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
- Strong technical understanding of biosensor technology and bioanalytical instruments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Positions Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, and/or move 50+ lbs.
- This role will require long periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
- The employee will be required to use hands for computer work, phone calls, and pipetting.
- Must pass a health screening.
