• Collect, organize, and analyze data related to energy operations, including production, consumption, pricing, and market trends, to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for improvement.

• Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization, leveraging process mapping and workflow analysis techniques.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define project scope, and prioritize initiatives to meet business objectives and strategic goals.

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational metrics, monitor performance, and provide insights to stakeholders.

• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI analysis, and variance analysis, to assess the financial impact of proposed initiatives and support decision-making.

• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics in the energy sector, conducting research and analysis to inform strategic planning and business development efforts.

• Identify and assess risks associated with energy operations, including market risks, regulatory risks, and operational risks, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.

• Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to design and implement technology solutions, business process improvements, and automation initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the energy sector or related industries.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to drive business decisions.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Knowledge of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends, with a solid understanding of energy production, distribution, and consumption processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
