The Field Engineer II is part of the Global Scientific and Laboratory Services (SLS) Knowledge Management organization, and their responsibilities would include being the subject matter expert (SME), presenting, assisting in the implementation, and troubleshooting software and automation interface solutions for our customers. What you will do:
- You will innovate and resolve customer issues related to software and automation integration of our instruments with the customer network as part of validation, installation and qualification service offering, primarily through phone or email. These interactions will be managed and logged in a fast-paced environment using Salesforce.com (SFDC) to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.
- Your deep understanding of software and market standard automation interfaces will be applied to generate documentation for sharing best practices and development of software and automation protocols for deployment in a pharmaceutical GMP facility.
- As a problem-solver with project management skills and tactical mindset, you will proactively lead internal and/or external customer communications and collaboration with cross-functional teams (supplier, R&D, PE, Marketing/Product management, SLS MSAT)
- You will report valuable feedback to resolve issues, define a roadmap, set, track and achieve performance objectives. You will utilize SFDC dashboards and other platforms to monitor progress, identify gaps, and implement strategies for success.
- Play a key role in advancing Knowledge Management, focusing on contributing to the SharePoint-based FAQ database and participation in Retention of Critical Knowledge (ROCK) program.
- Establish and maintain technical expertise in Good Automated Manufacturing Practices, GAMP5 and 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11 through close contact with customers, including potential travel for technical consultations, training, product demonstrations, and complaint resolution.
- Software engineer with experience in automation and integration to systems - Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, applied science / engineering, or equivalent
- Self-motivated and can work independently
- Fluent in technical English, spoken and written
- Experience in championing continuous improvement and change management within a customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrated success educating and supporting internal and external customers
- Familiarity with Cytiva Instrumentation and filtration products.
