Responsibilities
Performs production sample runs.
- Prepares solutions such as mobile phases and buffers
- Performs validation experiments.
- Works independently, plans and conducts laboratory work
- Performs routine tasks with high efficiency
- Trains and guides new testing personnel
- Cleans laboratory glassware and helps maintain lab orderliness
- Documents promptly and clearly all procedural processes
- Performs automated and routine extractions
- Monitors LCMS and/or HPLC system performance to ensure quality of results
- Independently troubleshoots assays and instrumentation
- Processes data following SRL procedures and guidelines
- Makes and records observations and performs mathematical calculations
- Maintains and calibrates instrumentation and equipment as required
- Files documentation associated with daily production runs.
- Makes copies of relative forms used for production and validation.
- Assists with maintaining laboratory inventory and requesting supply orders
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree in a scientific field
- 3+ years laboratory related experience
- 3 years LCMS
- 3 years extraction experience
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work well with variety of laboratory personnel.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Must be able to work with frequent interruptions and fluctuations in workload.
- Ability to set and meet deadlines with high quality work.
- Ability to understand graphs, tables, charts and perform calculations needed for the task.
- Ability to follow and implement policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
