You have an educational background in life sciences, some life sciences work experience and ALSO have an interest in data management and process optimization. The Data Analyst’s day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Reading industry news and updates from the pharma/biotech industry
- Preparing, curating, and publishing pharma/biotech information for Zymewire users in a timely manner during specified hours of the business day while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Maintaining and updating our database of companies, ensuring we have the best coverage of the pharma/biotech industry and the most accurate data possible
- Assisting other members of the Zymewire data team with data projects
- Contributing ideas to help improve efficiencies for the data team
More about you:
- You’re available to work remotely Monday-Friday, from 8:30AM- 4:30PM GMT
- You have an undergraduate degree in life sciences (biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmacy) and have at least 1 year of related industry work experience.
- You have some knowledge of the pharmaceutical/drug development/medical device industry as a whole (although direct experience in the field isn't necessary)
- You’re curious about the intersection of biology and technology

- You have strong familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets
- Learning more about the pharma/biotech industry
- Experiencing how a young Saas company operates

- Being introduced to some data science systems (machine learning)
- Being involved with product development activities
