Role Overview:We are seeking a QA professional with expertise in automation frameworks and design frameworks, as well as API automation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the product’s backend and experience in backend testing. This role requires end-to-end ownership and the ability to work as an individual contributor. Proficiency in coding, particularly in Python or Golang, is essential. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate closely with Project and Product Managers and should have a good understanding of go-to-market (GTM) strategies. Experience in both web and mobile testing is required.


Key Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
● Perform API automation testing and thorough backend testing to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of backend services and the overall product.
● Contribute to the development and implementation of GTM strategies while taking end-to-end ownership of the QA process, from planning to execution and reporting.
● Work closely with the development technical team, product manager and program managers to align on the quality strategy.
● Contribute to the development and implementation of GTM strategies.
● Execute tests on both web and mobile platforms to ensure comprehensive coverage.
● Identify, document, and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
● Perform infrastructure testing to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of hardware, software, and network components, and validate their integration with the overall system.
● Implement metrics, analyse test data and results to identify patterns, report on risk status to development partners, and influence software quality.


Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
● 4 to 10 years of experience in QA automation/Manual and backend testing.
● Experience in Python is a must.
● Strong understanding of automation frameworks and design frameworks.
● Experience with API automation and backend testing.
● Familiarity with GTM strategies and their implementation.
● Experience in testing both web and mobile applications.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
