What Youll Do

  • Conduct market landscaping analyses for the drug discovery pipelines across various indications.
  • Monitor news sources, patent releases, company websites, and other platforms for competitive intelligence.
  • Summarize and interpret competitive intelligence, providing actionable insights to the team.
  • Assist in researching and identifying new drugs for potential inclusion in our discovery portfolio.
  • Support strategic and operational tasks for the drug discovery business unit.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage project deliverables with guidance from key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and assist in gathering input from across the organization.

What Youll Bring

  • In your final year of study or recently graduated with a PhD in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or Biotech).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to critically analyze preclinical and clinical data and summarize findings clearly.
  • Interest in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, with some coursework or project experience in related areas preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to learn, adapt, and recommend improvements to status quo.
  • Prior work experience in biotech finance, venture capital, or the pharmaceutical industry preferred.

Benefits

  • Compensation: The salary for this internship is $70,000–$90,000 per year, pro-rated based on the internships duration.
