REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – SCOTLAND AND NORTHERN IRELAND

What you will do

In this vital role your primary responsibility will be to optimize the adoption and utilization of Amgen's key Oncology products. Your efforts will involve generate clinical demand, facilitate local access, and engage in formulary, pathway, and funding initiatives—all aligned with Amgen's overarching mission of "Serving Patients."

You will plan, organise and drive cross-functional activities aimed at ensuring patient access to the promoted brands, while aligning with regional and national goals and objectives. Additionally, you will identify needs, evaluate, develop, and commercialise external opportunities, and mitigate potential threats at the regional level, all in accordance with the brand strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct analysis and assessment of accounts to ensure an understanding of issues, key brand advocates, stakeholders, health priorities, commissioning, procurement activities and/or regional networks
  • Input into the prioritisation of customers to refine segmentation plans
  • Produce a plan of action to ensure achievement of account priorities and regional and national brand strategy
  • Involve key internal stakeholders in preparation of account plans to ensure alignment and prioritisation of activities
  • Support identification of opinion leaders and develop engagement plans
  • Ensure all activities agreed within the account plans are implemented to completion within time, cost, and compliance and quality constraints
  • Translate national plans to develop a regional plan of action
  • Develop evaluation methods for success and track progress relative to targets
  • You will maintain effective collaboration within own and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, progress updates and knowledge share

  • Degree educated, ideally in a scientific field and ABPI qualified
  • Proven track record of consistently high performance in a hospital sales environment, preferably within Oncology and/or Haematology
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders across Scotland and Northern Ireland
  • Experience of maximising growth through complex pathways
