Job Description
Job Title: EHS Analyst
Position Summary: As a Safety Analyst at Johnson & Johnson, you will play a crucial role in the evaluation and analysis of safety data to support the continuous enhancement of safety systems within our pharmaceutical operations. You will utilize your expertise in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring the identification, assessment, and mitigation of safety risks associated with our products along with compliance obligations
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements MPCB and J&J requirements
- Monitor and investigate adverse event reports, coordinating with various teams to ensure that corrective actions are implemented and tracked effectively.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain EHS systems in alignment with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards, facilitating the design and implementation of safety protocols.
- Collaborate with product development teams to conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and HAZOP studies, promoting a proactive approach to safety management.
- Prepare and manage safety documentation, including safety reports, risk assessments, and regulatory submissions, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Lead safety training sessions and workshops for staff, promoting awareness and adherence to safety standards and best practices.
- Ensure proper hazardous waste management with documentation in compliance with EPA regulations.
- Conduct chemical exposure monitoring, noise monitoring, vibration studies, and ergonomics assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Record and manage EHS data including good saves, incidents, CAPA, and ensuring timely reporting and data integrity for compliance.
- Should be familiar with British safety council frame work
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field; a master’s degree in industrial Hygiene/Environmental science and Safety is preferred.
- Overall experience in EHS systems management, with a strong foundation in safety analysis and risk assessment within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with conducting safety audits and managing compliance with EHS regulations and standards, including OSHA and British safety council audits
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and regulatory partners.
- A commitment to continuous learning, staying up to date on industry standards to deliver the best safety solutions.
- Should have 4-8 years of relevant experience in EHS field
