ROLE TITLE

Study.com is looking for science experts to serve as Standards Alignment Mappers who will align existing Study.com lessons to match state-specific standards. This is an online, remote contract role. All work is paid work is paid hourly.

Project Description

Standards Alignment Mappers evaluate and update our lesson mappings, ensuring their relevance to the provided standards. Our ideal mapper understands the topic they're reviewing standards for and can quickly determine which of our lessons would best cover the standards.

As a part of our mission to impact student learning, you'll be responsible for:

• Revising standards mappings to ensure the topics are covered comprehensively with already existing lessons.
• Completing mappings in a timely manner.
• Adhering to our formatting requirements.
  
  

Required Skills

• Education: You have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: You have experience teaching at the middle or high school level and with standards alignment
• Skills: You will need excellent reading and comprehension skills
• Competency: Ability to make quick decisions
• Communication: This role requires reliable judgment, strong communication skills, and being responsive to feedback.
  
  

Additional Preferred Skills

• You have 1-3 years' teaching experience.
• You have familiarity with state standards.

The Contract Process
