Job Description
We are looking for a UKI Sales Development Manager to identify and qualify new sales opportunities with both potential and existing clients in the Pharmaceutical and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) sectors.
The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth and revenue in the Pharma and CROs sectors by building strong client relationships and identifying new sales opportunities. This role requires extensive experience in managing clinical trials, working with C-suite customers, and specializing in Oncology, RNA Vaccines, and Diabetes. The candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment to secure new contracts and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and revenue generation.
- Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in Pharma and CROs at C-Suite level and with clinical trail leads.
- Map the Clinical trials from Phase I-IV in Oncology , Diabetes ,Obesity , RNA Vaccines space with key pharma players in UKI.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop sales plan with Pharma and CRO
- Collaborate in a matrix environment with country regional marketing, and commercial teams in a cross-functional setting to secure new contracts and partnerships.
- Review, maintain, and manage compliance with key performance indicators, including sales performance and opportunity management ( Sales funnel).
- Manage MBR and QBR processes, provide regular forecasts relevant to the territory, and ensure the SFDC CRM tool is adequately updated.
- Manage contract renewals and assign local targets for Channel Partners.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in a life science field (higher degrees preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of clinical trials, especially in Oncology and Diabetes.
- 5+ years of experience in sales development management experience within the Pharma and CROs industry, with proven success as a sales team lead
- Experience managing or working with clinical trial teams. Experience working with C-suite customers.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating various commercial partnerships in the Pharma and CROs industry.
- Specialization in Oncology and Diabetes, with experience managing big pharma clients in these areas.
- Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional and personal relationships with key business partners and customers.
