Job Description
Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related field.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, or MBA degree.
  • Experience in roles related to business analysis, statistical analysis, and Machine Learning.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to multiple cross-regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to process high amount of data to drive business strategies and decisions and to solve large, unstructured business problems in fraud investigations and risk management space.
  • Excellent process/project management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. Trust and Safety (T&S) is Google’s team of abuse fighting and user trust experts working daily to make the internet a safer place. We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam, and account hijacking. As a diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages. The mission of our Publisher Quality team is to protect Google's users and advertisers by ensuring that publishers comply with our policies.

Responsibilities

  • Work with large unstructured data sets to get actionable insights and develop solutions for scalable enforcement on non-compliant inventory.
  • Build and evaluate models that automate decision-making or generate highly actionable leads for content review teams.
  • Identify automation and efficiency opportunities. Drive solutions through analysis and/or cross-functional partnership with Product, Engineering, and other enforcement teams within T&S.
  • Conduct complex data analyses and identify opportunities/sources for new signals, automation, and workflow improvements, then drive the utilization of these new signals to completion.
  • Increase effectiveness of strategy by identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement through people and tools/technology.
